Our company was established in 1976 by our former Representative Director, Mr. Noriyoshi Yoshikawa, who became independent after serving as a marine engineer at sea and a construction supervisor on land, founding a trading firm specialized in ship equipment and parts. Rather than merely providing the products our customers order, we utilize the knowledge and experience we have accumulated as engineers. We engage with our customers as engineers rather than simply as trading company personnel, always striving to conduct our operations from the customer's perspective.We have been able to continue our business since our founding thanks to the tremendous support from our customers and business partners, as well as the unified dedication of our employees. The trust we have built with our customers and business partners since our inception has become an invaluable network of contacts—irreplaceable assets in the form of human resources.In 2013, Mr. Shinya Yoshikawa assumed the position of Representative Director to lead the next generation. Drawing on his experience as a plant engineer—gained through the construction and commissioning of power plants—he has expanded our business scope from the traditional offshore (maritime) sector to onshore (plants), actively embracing new technologies to achieve even greater customer satisfaction. I believe that a company exists to bring happiness to its employees and their families. When families are happy, employees are happy too, and this happiness is conveyed to our customers, ultimately making the company and society happier. That is why I aim for our company to endure for a hundred years.
