Founder's Vision and Establishment
N.Y. Co., Ltd. is the realization of the vision of Mr. Noriyoshi Yoshikawa, of creating an innovative venture that aims to provide ship machineries and spare parts all over the world with the best quality service possible to all customers. Motivated by a wide experience as an onboard engineer and superintendent onground, Mr. N. Yoshikawa established the business in 1976.
Growth Through Strong Relationships
Since then, the company has been able to serve countless customers and other stakeholders in both the local and international shipping industry— forging strong business relationships along the way, which is one of the reasons for its success. This has been made possible by the competent staff of N.Y. Co., Ltd., who are equipped not only with knowledge of products and services, but also with the technical expertise of engineers. The company takes pride in recruiting people with engineering experience to guarantee a “tailor-fit” delivery of products and services. In addition, the company’s continuous search for new technology to adopt makes it even more confident to look forward to many more fruitful years of service to the industry.
New Leadership and Business Expansion
In 2013, Mr. Shinya Yoshikawa, a professional plant engineer, took over the position of his father as President of N.Y. Co., Ltd. Under his leadership, the business expanded from the offshore to onshore field and has further enhanced the founder’s vision by taking the lead in strengthening the business to last for generations to come. Mr. S. Yoshikawa is accomplishing this dream guided by the principle of “being happy.”
